This pencil is more than just a writing implement: once it’s been sharpened for the last time, you simply plant it in soil – and fresh basil will grow. The concept is as simple as it is ingenious, making the Sprout® pencil the perfect sustainable promotional gift or eco-friendly giveaway.

The pencil is made from FSC-certified wood. At the end is an integrated seed capsule containing basil seeds. Once the pencil has been used up, simply plant it with the seed capsule facing downwards in moist soil – the first seedlings will appear after just 10 to 15 days. Basil can be grown on a windowsill all year round or planted out in the garden after the last frost.

From 1 piece with your print: We print your design on an area of 145 × 5 mm on the side opposite the logo within one day in Berlin. Sprout pencils are ideal for companies, events, trade fairs, schools or as an unusual wedding gift.

The German seed name “Basilikum” and the Sprout logo are laser-engraved on one side. The print is applied to the opposite side.
