The Sprout® Daisy pencil is more than just a writing implement: once sharpened right to the tip, it can simply be planted and, thanks to its built-in seed capsule, will grow into a daisy. A sustainable giveaway with a real ‘wow’ factor for trade fairs, events, schools and corporate clients.
The round barrel is made of natural wood and coated with a fine, transparent protective varnish that prevents smudging. The lead is HB grade; the pencil is supplied sharpened and boasts high break resistance thanks to a special adhesive bond. It is made from wood sourced from renewable raw materials and is FSC-certified. The logo and the English name ‘Daisy’ are laser-engraved on one side, whilst the opposite side offers space for your customised print, measuring up to 150 x 5 mm.
Once planted, it takes around 10 to 15 days for the seeds to germinate – it is best to start indoors in spring and transplant the plant outdoors after the last frost. The daisies will then flower around a year later. Colour printing is carried out using a UV digital printing process; orders can be placed for as few as 1 item with no minimum order quantity, and both printing and dispatch are completed within just one working day.
