The Sprout® Thyme pencil is more than just an ordinary pencil: once the lead has been used up, you simply plant it and thyme will grow from the built-in seed capsule. This makes it a particularly original promotional gift for trade fairs, events, schools and corporate campaigns.

The round barrel is made from natural wood sourced from renewable raw materials and is FSC-certified. A fine, transparent protective varnish prevents soiling without altering the natural appearance. The lead is HB grade; the pencil is supplied pre-sharpened and features a special adhesive bond that ensures high break resistance.

For customisation, the logo and the English name ‘Thyme’ are laser-engraved on one side, whilst the opposite side offers a print area of up to 150 x 5 mm. Colour printing is carried out using a modern UV digital printing process to ensure a clean, long-lasting result.

Once planted, the thyme usually germinates within 14 to 25 days. It is best to start indoors in spring and transplant the plant into the garden after the last frost.
